Mrs. Collatz is a highly effective and dedicated high school physical education teacher who has spent 34 years teaching and will soon be retiring. She is consistent in her commitment to fostering high standards, respect, and perseverance—both in the gym and on the field. Through mentorship, structure, and routine, she inspires her students and athletes, empowering them to lead healthy and fulfilling lives. Her leadership extends far beyond the classroom. Mrs. Collatz has been instrumental in shaping our Physical Education program and has served as the department chair for over 20 years. Additionally, her passion for athletics and advocacy has been demonstrated through her work with the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF), where she proudly represents the Central Section as the female representative. Maria Collatz’s impact as an educator and leader is truly inspiring. She is a Stockdale legend!

Principal Erika Pierce and Athletic Director Brandon Parks are proud to annouce Nikki Elmore as Stockdale's 2nd Head Volleyball Coach in the history of Stockdale. Coach Elmore takes over for Coach Maria Collatz who has served in the role since the opening of the school. We thank Coach Collatz for her dedication to the Stockdale Volleyball program and welcome Coach Elmore into the Mustang Family! Congratulations Coach Elmore!
